National Accounts Manager

This individual will use his/her responsive, confident, results-oriented style to generate sales leads and drive new customer sales and promote the growth of our Retail Maintenance Services and Fixture Installation departments.  You will create professional and effective sales presentations and prepare and present bid responses for existing and/or prospective customers.  You will also use your strong customer focus and relationship building skills to maintain and maximize existing national account retail/commercial customers at multiple levels within their organization.  When needed, you will represent the company at Trade Shows and Networking events.  Within our RSS team, you will work with the Operations Managers, Project Managers, and Admin/Customer Service Staff to effectively advocate and communicate the needs of the customer in order for us to successfully execute their projects. 

Position Requirements:

            The ideal candidate is currently involved in the Retail Store Planning, Facility Maintenance or Fixture Installation industry with strong industry contacts.  He or she should have a strong track record of calling on National Retail Accounts (large retailers or small national boutiques a plus), have strong presentation skills and value-added selling skills.  The successful candidate must demonstrate that he/she knows how to hunt for opportunities and is able to overcome “no” with a strategy to secure a meeting with a potential customer. 
            This position requires an individual who is independent, results driven.  Approx 50 % of the time, you will work from home and need to have the appropriate internet, phone, and fax capabilities.  The remaining part of this individual’s time will be spent traveling to customer/sales calls nation-wide and to company meetings. 
In order to work efficiently with our office staff, the selected candidate for this position will need to be located within the Eastern (preferred) or Central time zone. 
            Strong Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are required.
Excellent communication skills and strong project and time management skills are also required.
            BS/BA degree from a 4 year collage or university a plus.

 

Lighting Service Technician

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Works indoors on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.
  • Familiarity with Interior lighting (including but not limited to): T12, T8, T5 compact fluorescent systems (electronic and magnetic; HID systems (electronic pulse start and ceramic metal halide); Modular wiring systems known as Reloc; Emergency lighting systems such as remote head systems.    
  • Perform daily work per assigned work orders.
  • Timely and accurate completion of time sheets, material lists and job tickets.
  • Ensure assigned work vehicle is stocked with material, parts and tools for the scope of work to be performed
  • Maintain company vehicle, and storage facility in a neat/organized fashion. Perform routine safety inspections of assigned vehicle and report any issues to management.
  • Maintain excellent contact with office administrative stall and operations staff, keeping them aware of current status and update completions. 
  • Adhere to all safety practices.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years experience working independently as a field technician in electrical, sign, or lighting industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with safely operating aerial equipment.
  •  Must be able to travel and work overnights as required by the scope of work.
  • Maintain a valid Driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Employment will be contingent upon submission to and successful completion of a post-offering/pre-placement drug and alcohol screen, as well as pre-placement criminal background check.
